Wixie is a creativity and productivity software service provided by Tech4Learning, Inc. It is designed for use in school and educational settings, allowing users to create, collaborate, and share work.
By agreeing to our Terms of Service and using Wixie, the School provides consent, on behalf of its Child students' parents or guardians, to Wixie's collection, use, and disclosure of personal information from and about Children through Wixie, in accordance with the Wixie Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
What Personal Information Does Wixie Collect about Children?
Wixie collects limited personal information from all users, including children under 13. Personal information is added when a child's Wixie account is created by a parent, teacher, or school.

Wixie does not collect sensitive personal information such as home addresses, phone numbers, or birthdates, or gender from children.
How Does Wixie Use This Information?
The personal information collected from students is used solely for the purpose of providing the service to:
- Allow students to create and save their work.
- Enable teachers to manage student accounts, assign work, and view student progress.
- Support the internal operations of the Wixie platform, such as maintaining security and fixing technical issues.
- Allow students to share their creative work within the school's private Wixie environment, as permitted by the school.
Wixie does not use student personal information for advertising or targeted marketing.
Does Wixie Share This Information?
Wixie may share limited student personal information in the following circumstances:
- With the School/District: All student data is accessible by the school and district administrators and the student's teachers for educational and administrative purposes.
- With Third-Party Service Providers: Wixie uses a limited number of service providers (e.g., cloud hosting) to support its internal operations. These providers are contractually required to protect the information and use it only for the purposes of providing the service to Wixie.
- For Legal Reasons: Wixie may disclose information if required by law, such as to comply with a court order or subpoena.
Wixie does not sell student personal information to any third parties.
Parental Rights
COPPA grants parents rights over their child's personal information, which include the right to:

- Request deletion of the child's personal information.
