Students interview animals that live in the ocean to demonstrate knowledge of animal characteristics, diet, and more.
Ocean Alliterations
Have young students write alliterative sentences about the ocean for a fun way to practice phonemic awareness.
Ocean Animal Riddles
Help students identify key ideas in the informational texts they are reading and practice inference as they create riddles about ocean animals.
Extend field trip experiences
