Here are five great ideas you can use with students to help integrate your iPads or Chromebooks into your curriculum.
Have students write and illustrate using alliteration. Students learn to create illustrations that support and reflect their writing.
Have students write and illustrate an interview with a dinosaur to demonstrate their knowledge of animal characteristics, diet, and more.
Have students create their own adaptations of literature they are reading.
Rather than copying and pasting information, have students write a 5 senses poem about a topic encouraging them to activate facts they know or find in their own words.
Have students write how-to books for their favorite activities or tasks they can do independently.
Wixie is a publishing and creativity platform that lets students share what they know through their writing, their voice, and their art.
Here are tweets from second-grade teachers sharing what they are doing with technology in their classrooms.
